-                      TAKEOFF CX AND PROCEDURE

·                     Gradually increase collective pitch to hover at 5ft (1,5 m). Check engine and mechanical contols instruments (NR≈ = 406rpm), no warning light.

·                     Increase Air speed with the HIGE power until IAS = 40 kt (74 km/h),  then begin to climb so as to clear 20 ft (6 m) at IAS = 65 kt (120 km/h).


CLIMB

Above 100 ft (30 m) select Maximum Countinous Power and Optimum Climbing Speed of (Vy) :
                                IAS = 65 kt (120 km/h) – 1 kts per 1000 ft (2 km/h per 300 meter)

CRUISE

Fast cruise is obtained by the first limitation reached corresponding to the begining of the FLI amber area :
Corresponding mechanical limit Tq or Ng are pointed out with underlined numerical value.
Economic cruise : set Tq to 10% less than MCP Tq.
Reduce indicated airspeed in turbulence.
NR ≈ = 412 rpm in low altitude until 414 rpm in high altitude.


APPROACH AND LANDING

-                      APPROACH
·                     Perform approach at a minimum rate of descent and at ≈ = Vy.
·                     At approximately 100 ft (30m), reduce airspeed down to HIGE at 5 ft (1,5 m)
·                     Approach check :
1.                    Landing light                       :  AS REQUIRED
2.                    All parameters                  : CHECK.

-                      LANDING
·                     In hover, gradually reduce collective pitch until touch-down, then fully reduce collective pitch.




ENGINE AND ROTOR SHUTDOWN

-                      Cyclic stick                           : NEUTRAL
-                      Collective pitch                 : LOCK
-                      [PITOT] , [HORN], Landing light                  : OFF
-                      Twist grip                             : IDLE detent
66% ≤ NG ≤70%, wait 30 sec, for temperature stabilization.
-                      All unnecessary system                                                 : OFF
-                      [AVIONIC] (if fitted)                                       : OFF
-                      [GENE]                                                                 : OFF
-                      Twist grip                                                             : SHUT OFF detend
Cancel the IDLE stop by briefly pressing on the starter pushbutton.
The twist grip must be turned to shut off detend with no delay.
